Website builds

A website that answers, not one that just sits there.

Four fixed prices, from £1,200 for a single page to £60,000 for a complex build. Built to be read and cited by AI as well as read by people. You own the site, the code and the domain.

Why it works this way

Why the price is on the page.

Go and look at ten agency websites. Count how many tell you what a website costs. It is usually one, and usually the cheapest.

The silence is rarely about scope genuinely varying, though that is the reason given. It is about setting the number after the conversation, once the agency knows your turnover and how badly you need this finished before the trade show.

Publishing a range costs us the people we could have talked round, and it means we have to hold the price once it is on the page. Both are worth it, because the alternative wastes your afternoon before you find out you were never in the market.

There is a longer version of this argument written up here.

Sound familiar

What buying a website usually feels like.

You ask three agencies. Two come back with a discovery workshop before they will give you a number. The third quotes, and the quote is a range so wide it tells you nothing.

Somewhere in month two you realise the person who pitched is not the person building it. Questions take days. The thing that was going to take six weeks is at week eleven.

When it finally launches it looks fine and nobody can tell you whether it will make the phone ring. Six months later you cannot change a price on it without raising a ticket.

Almost none of that is about design ability. It is about how the work is structured and who is actually doing it.

The four

Pick the tier. The price is the price.

Ads and AI add-ons sit on top of any of them. The fuller comparison, including what is not included, is on the services page.

Every build is AI-native as standard: structured data, answers stated plainly in text, and a machine-readable summary of the business. That is not an upsell, it is how they are made.

Ownership

The site is yours.

The code is yours. The domain is in your name. The hosting arrangement is yours, and the site can be moved to another provider without asking us for anything.

Nothing is rented. There is no platform fee, no licence that lapses, and no component that stops working if you stop paying us.

That is deliberate. It means the care retainer has to be worth having on its own merits rather than because leaving is difficult.

The guarantee

Pay monthly. Cancel anytime.

Every month is paid up front. If at any point you do not feel what is being delivered is worth at least three times your monthly fee, say so and we stop. No notice period, no cancellation fee, no minimum term.

Everything built for you is yours to keep, to run yourself or hand to another provider.

We have to earn your business every month. That is the deal.

Most agencies lock you in with notice periods and minimum terms. We do not. If what we are doing is not worth several times what you pay for it, you should not have to argue your way out of a contract to stop. And if it is worth it, you will want to carry on anyway.

After launch

What happens once it is live.

Care, £100 a month

Hosting with the site monitored, security and software updates applied, and backups taken and checked. You make your own content changes through the CMS.

Care+, £200 a month

Everything in Care, plus a fair amount of everyday editing done for you. The only way changes get made on a flat build, which has no CMS to edit.

Or nothing at all

Neither is compulsory. The site is yours and you can host it wherever you like. Say so and we will hand it over cleanly.

Objections

Questions, answered.

How fixed is the fixed price?

Fixed. The scope is settled before the number is given, which is why the number does not move afterwards. If you change what you want mid-build, that is quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly and argued about later.

Who writes the copy?

You do. Editing and restructuring is included, so what you supply gets made answer-ready: the claim first, in text, stated rather than implied. Writing it from a blank page is not included. Waiting on copy is the commonest reason a fixed timescale slips.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Foundation and above normally come with a CMS, so you can change text and images yourself. Presence is deliberately a flat build at two days, which means changes come through the care retainer or are quoted. Some small sites are genuinely better flat, and you will be told if yours is one.

What actually moves the price within a range?

Rarely page count. What moves it is whether the content exists, whether anything has to be migrated from an old site, and whether the site has to talk to something else such as a booking system, a CRM or a stock feed.

What happens after launch?

Care at £100 a month covers hosting, monitoring, security updates and checked backups. Care+ at £200 adds a fair amount of everyday editing done for you. Presence includes its first twelve months of hosting, which is the Care level.

Do I own the site?

Yes. The code, the domain and the hosting arrangement are yours. Nothing is rented from us and nothing turns off if we stop working together.

What is an AI-native website, and do I need one?

It is a site built to be read and cited by AI as well as read by people: structured data, answers stated plainly in text, and a machine-readable summary of the business. Every build here is done that way as standard. There is a full definition on the site if you want the detail.

How long does it really take?

Two days for Presence, two weeks for Foundation, three to five for Platform, five or more for Advanced. The clock starts when the copy and assets are with us, not when the invoice is paid.

Do you do photography?

No. You supply images or we quote it separately. Pretending otherwise is how a fixed price stops being fixed.

What if I already have a site that mostly works?

Then a rebuild may be the wrong purchase. A good deal of what makes a site work for AI and for conversion is structural and can be applied to what you already have. You will be told if that is the cheaper, better answer.

The next step

A free 20-minute call.

Tell us what the site has to do. You will get an honest answer on which tier fits, what it will cost, and how long it will take. If a rebuild is the wrong purchase for you, you will be told that instead.
